Writer, critic. Michael Turner is the award-winning author of fictions Hard Core Logo (1993) and The Pornographer’s Poem (1999). He has contributed to exhibition catalogues 6: New Vancouver Modern (1998) and Fred Herzog: Vancouver Photographs (2007), and the anthologies Intertidal: Vancouver Art & Artists (2006) and Vancouver Art & Economies (2007). His criticism has appeared in the Globe and Mail and the Vancouver Sun, as well as periodicals such as Art/Text, Art On Paper, Art Papers, and Modern Painters.
