Artist Christos Dikeakos reflects upon his student days at the University of British Columbia. As a student, Dikeakos was involved in organizing exhibitions such as The Photo Show in 1970 at the Student Union Building, focusing on regional & international practices in conceptual art photography. He discusses his documentation of Robert Smithson’s Glue Pour which took place in the same year. The interdisciplinary exploration across a range of university departments and downtown art venues is seen as key to the cultural scene.
