Writer. Judith Copithorne was born in Vancouver in 1940. An active participant at the Sound Gallery, Motion Studio and Intermedia, Copithorne is know for her contributions to concrete poetry and other forms of experimental writing during the 1960s and 1970s. Copithorne has published over ten books of text images and poetry, including A Light Character (Coach House, 1985).
