Architect. Educated at the University of British Columbia and Yale University, Harry Hawthorn’s architectural practice was primarily focused on cultural, First Nations, and heritage projects. Now retired, Hawthorn consults on architectural and planning projects. He has held the position of Chairman of the Vancouver City Planning Commission, was a member of the Urban Design Panel, the Heritage Advisory Committee, and the Vancouver Street Decoration (Banner) Committee. In addition, Hawthorn is a Fellow of the Royal Architecture Institute of Canada and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts.
